Guide: Creating an ORCID iD and Linking Your Works

Create the iD, add your affiliation, link works and set privacy.

Steps

Register for free on the official site orcid.org/register.
Verify your email address.
Add your affiliation using the University’s standard form.
Link your works through search and import (Crossref and others).
Set the visibility of each item (public / trusted parties / only me).
Use the iD when submitting articles and proposals.
